Decision:

The story that I wanted to tell was when I broke my arm in preschool. Since the story is short and a bit humorous I wanted to portray that on my website.
For the main page I wanted the background to give the reader an idea of that the page was about so I put a picture of a slide since it is an important part of my story.
I have made an animation of this story in a previous class and thought that I might be a perfect time to use it. But instead of having the video be the only content on the page I wrote a description of the beginning of my story as a way to introduce the video and then adding the video. At the end I just wrote a small description of what happened after the event that I did not include in my video followed with pictures of the characters at the bottom.

Self Critique:
I tried to keep my page simple and clean so that I won't be too confusing since the story I am telling is simply and witty itself. As I mentioned before I wanted to include a video animation that I have made in a previous class so one of the hard part for me was able to work around that. I didn't want to just have the video because it might as well been a YouTube link. So I decided to add stuff that would help introduce the video and get the readers engaged to see it such as the description next to the juice image. Overall, I would say I did a good job with working around the video and being able to get my story across.
